![]() ![]() I’m tolerating PT better now due to the fact that I’ve had one very successful nerve block and medication adjustments to help with the symptoms while i strengthen my hypermobile pelvis + get manual therapy to release the ridiculous knots in my muscles. PT made me worse last year because there was so much inflammation surrounding the nerve. If it’s simply irritated from pelvic floor dysfunction (tight or weak muscles) then PT should be the answer forward. They don’t joke when they say nerves heal stupidly slow. The first year was essentially warning signs, the second year was excruciating symptoms and pain, and now in year three I’m finally getting a handle on the pain and symptoms. I’m diagnosed with bilateral pudendal neuralgia: am in year 3 of dealing with it. ![]() It could be PN, but typically it occurs after some sort of trauma to or around the pelvis. But I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this specific nerve closer to the genitals getting compressed somehow and why this typically happens? Thank you. I have a appointment with a pelvic floor physical therapist and I’m really hoping I can finally settle this problem. It’s the worse pain I’ve ever experienced. ![]() Since the issue is not within my lumbar spine I was wondering if it’s possible for the dorsal nerve to be pinched somehow? Has anyone heard of this happening? Typically the pudendal nerve is pinched or trapped but has anyone experienced this on the dorsal nerve? I literally feel like someone is pulling the dorsal nerve towards my body from my penis. I can’t even do my job efficiently any more and I fear it will get worse. This has been very frustrating, and I’m sick of it. I’ve had MRI in my entire spine and brain as well. It all started when I tried to correct my posture and stretching. For about a year now I’ve had issues with intense pain in my penis. ![]()
